Paint Your Heart

LOVE.

I painted this for my hubby and I. I love to paint, I just need to find more time to be able to do it. All I did was put sticker letters in the shape of a heart on a blank canvas. Then the colors I used were red, white and black. After I painted the whole canvas, I waited for it to dry and then peeled the letters off. After, I took a small brush and painted in some of the letters white that the painted seeped through. That's it. This is very simple and easy. You can make any shape, use any kind of letters, and words. Fun project to do on a rainy day! :)

French Toast

This morning for breakfast my hubby made us French Toast. It was amazing! I needed to go grocery shopping too and I'm surprised that we had all the right ingredients. Most people do, all you need is eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and bread. We even used Eggs Beaters (lol). Just scramble up your eggs, put your cinnamon and sugar in a bowl big enough to dip bread slices in. Heat up your pan, coat your slices of bread in the egg mix and place into hot pan. I'd say let bread cook for about 5 min and then dip in sugar and cinnamon mix. That's about it. I'm pretty sure everyone knows how to make French Toast but if not it's so simple, doesn't take very much ingredients, and that long.

#THUNDERSTORMS. 

I know a lot of people hate how "bipolar" the weather is in Florida. First it rains, then it is sunny, then it rains and it's sunny at the same time. However, one thing I will miss about summer is the afternoon thunderstorms! I love those, the dark clouds rolling in, the thunder and the streaks of lighting. I sit home on my couch and read, or I just listen and reflect while the thunder crashes, the rain hits our roof and the lighting flashes. I love Florida and this is my home.

Bacon&Eggs Muffin Style

So for breakfast this morning I decided to try something new that I haven't ever done before. I usually make eggs and bacon for breakfast, this time I decided to put the bacon in a muffin pan, (wrapping the bacon around edges). Then I put in whipped eggs, onions, spinach and feta cheese. I set oven to 350 and baked them for 30-35 minutes. You can do this however you want you. You can be creative, put different cheeses and ingredients inside the eggs, you don't have to use bacon either. Make sure to spray the pan with butter spray so that they won't stick.

They were so good! Perhaps I could have not put so much onions but for next time now I know! :)

October Holiday Ideas

This dish is one of my FAVORITE dishes my hubby makes. Okay, perhaps I am a little biased but, you should see for yourself how amazing this dish is. I do love my babe's cooking, he is very talented and he loves what he does. Cooking for 11 years and learning most of his techniques from his grandmothers, as well as, school, he truly puts his heart and soul into the food he makes whether it be for his family or his guests. 

This dish is a light but fulfilling meal. You can make it just for you or for the family. You've got veal scapollini, which means pounded thin, artichokes, tomatoes, pine nuts, and asparagus resting on a bed of mascarpone polenta finished with a white wine butter sauce. It's simply amazing. If you want to make this dish, you can watch his video below and see it is so simple!

Date Night Outfit

So last night my babe and I went out and as usual it always takes me forever to get ready. It's the what to wear part, not the hair and makeup. I have this perfect vision in my head but, when I go and put it on I'm like "nope". Well this time I just couldn't decide between which jeans to wear with my outfit, either dark jeans or my red jeans. I ended up going with the dark jeans, maybe next time red jeans. Which would you have picked?

So which would win? I liked both so much but I felt more comfortable in the dark denim but I know soon I am gonna wear those red jeans! lol

Peach & Nude

I love these colors together! Peach and nude is very classy. I think when you add a little bit of nude to any color it makes the outfit become classy. I'm not big on heels but I'm trying to get used to wearing them more. Since living in Florida I've just always chose sandals and flip-flops to wear everywhere. Here is my outfit of choice:

Being Casual

I love being casual. For the most part, I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I do love to dress up but, not all the time. I like being comfortable and able to just relax. Here's me in my American Eagle shorts, white tee and coach sneaks ready to hang out on a Saturday day.

Mint and Leopard.

So I've got a mint blue top (charlotte russe), leopard stretchy skirt (charlotte russe) and mint blue suede heels (charlotte russe). Guess what? I love charlotte russe! (lol) Along with Express, American Eagle and Guess. My watch is Michael Kors rose gold. You can make this an outfit for work, going out, or a simple date night. I love how comfortable it is, even my shoes and you can also add a belt to make it to change it up a bit. 

Shoes

Shoes= Sex.Love.OMG.

I love shoes. Wait, what girl doesn't?
