Facial Products

We all have our favorite products that we use on a daily basis and I want to share some of my favorites:

My favorite face wash is Neutrogena Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub. It's got these microbeads that help to gently exfoliate your face making your skin feel clean and soft. As well as, a tingly, then cool feeling while you are gently scrubbing your face. Love it! I have been using this product for about 5 years and I wouldn't use anything else! I don't like to put to many products on my face, not that my skin is sensitive, I just like sticking with what I know for the most part.  I've been very lucky to have clear skin my whole life so I do my best to take great care of it!

Another product that I like to use every once in a while are these facial packets. I get mine from target and you put them on your face and wipe off after 20-30 minutes. I normally do these twice a month because I barely have the time, but when I do my face feels amazing. I recommend using them maybe while relaxing in the bath or painting your nails, to help distract you as the time passes.

Everyday before putting my makeup on and every time I get out of the shower I use Suave's soothing with aloe lotion. It is light and refreshing, not greasy at all. For me it is the perfect moisturizer for my face. I also use this when my skin feels dry and it works great! I don't like putting heavy, greasy lotions on my skin so having this is a simple, quick fix!

I'm always looking for some great products to try out so if you have any of your own that you love, let me know, also what are some of your FAVOR-it skin products you use?

Summer Style // Rompers

Rompers are so cute! I've been seeing more and more of these outfits and I love that they can be worn with flats, sandals, or heels! There are so many different patters/prints and colors, and they can be dressy or casual! I haven't been shopping in a while due to being busy with work and everyday life chores, but I definitely need to add this to my list of must haves. I searched Pinterest for a couple different ones that I really like! Here are my favorites:

This super cute and bright yellow romper is adorable and perfect for summer time! Find this at: www.shopdailychic.com

This so simple yet classy Navy Romper is perfect for lunch or a date night! This is from J. Crew but is currently sold out! :-(

Loved this color! This Wilfred Melodique Romper also comes in Black, Lavender and Red (Punch). This color is called Turquoise Sea. This is from aritzia.com but is currently sold out in all colors except for sizes Medium and Large. Black is sold out completely.

From www.anthropologie.com this one is one of my favorites! The colors are so bright and beautiful!

I really like the Tribal and Aztec patterns style. Black and white is always in and this romper can be paired with a nice jean jacket. www.she-fashions.com

I love the color of this romper. I also love the neck line with the detail and bead design! It is my second favorite but I can't find where to get it!

As soon as I hit the mall I am going to be on a mission to find a couple cute rompers to wear out! I guess I could always buy one online, but what's the fun in that!

Quotes...

I love looking on Pinterest for inspiring quotes! I could pin all day long quotes that are meaningful now, were meaningful and could be in the future! Here are some for today that I stood out to me:

Low Carb Snacks

It's hard sticking to a diet. Especially when you have so many temptations out there. This is why for me doing a low carb diet works best for me. I love not feel bloated, having energy, and feel better in general. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, my biggest problem is staying away from breads and pasta. I don't completely eat low carb, every once in a while I enduldge in stuff not low carb but I drink a lot of water. I also get back to it the next day or whenever I feel I want to. I don't deprive myself of anything and I eat when I am hungry.

Sometimes I'm not always super hungry so it's important that I pack little snack here and there to help me stay on track. Here are some low carb snack ideas that are perfect for being on the go or at home in between meals:

I love almonds. They are so easy to pack and snack on!

Atkins has soooo many more options now than they used to. They have snacks, shakes, candies, and even meals. I love that because they already calculate your carbs and these snacks actually taste delicious. I always carry one of these in my purse just in case.

This is one of the shakes that I drink when I am craving something sweet. They have so many favors, this is strawberry banana. I also have the French vanilla shakes and I love those. I like how these come with caps you can put back on if you don't plan on drinking all at once or if traveling. Very convenient and delicious.

These Hillshire snacks I recently discovered while shopping at Target. There are 3 different selections to choose from, it's grilled chicken that comes with dipping sauces. 7g of carbs, not too bad for a quick snack while on the go. My favorite is the honey mustard and you can heat up chicken or eat them cold.

For me I love sandwiches and subs and it kills me not to be able to enduldge in a Publix sub everyday but this is a great solution that almost tricks my mind into thinking I am eating one. I take cheese, any kind, and wrap turkey or ham around it. You can choose any kind of deli meat and if you want to get fancy you can always add other things in between the cheese and meat such as; banana peppers,  jalapeƱos, tomatoes, lettuce and any condiments you choose. For me this is so simple, yet appetizing and fulfilling.

Hope these snack ideas help any of you trying to stick to low carb diet or any kind of diet for that matter! :-)

Summer Style // Tribal Print Palazzo Pants

I've been seeing this style more and these pants looked so comfortable and cute I had to get a pair for myself. I love bright colors with Aztec and Tribal prints. I picked up this pair from Target they were $17.99. These palazzo pants are great because you can pair them with a crop top, tucked in cami, or nice tank top. It's a classy, casual summer style! I'm also digging the jumpsuits and I'd like to try some of those as well.

I wore a pair of brown flip flops from Target and a white tank also from Target. Simple and cute style from Target!

Blackened Chicken Salad

Quick and delicious this salad is perfect for lunch or dinner and it's easy to put together! I love chicken and I eat a lot of it because it's easy to make and goes with a lot of things. Every once in a while I will go through a salad phase. I love wedge salads but one day I was in the mood for certain ingredients so I threw together this salad and it's been my go to for the last month. Obviously I don't only eat salads but when I want one this is what I make. I love how it's very simple, yet filling! I wanted to share because this salad is perfect for either lunch or dinner.

I love blackened chicken, adds more flavor and is simple! I make my own blackening seasoning using: Salt, Pepper, Garlic Salt, Garlic powder, Cayenne Pepper, Paprika, and Red Pepper. Mix it all together in a bowl, then I spray the chicken with a little butter and rub seasoning on it. I use olive oil and cook on medium heat in skillet. After the chicken is cooked I like to slice it before putting on top of my salad!

There are only 5 ingredients which are: any kind of lettuce, I like romaine. Cucumbers and tomatoes diced up, mozzarella cheese and any dressing but I use Ranch! That's it! Well topped with chicken that is 6 but super easy to make and delicious and filling!
